Herb Pharm Valerian Tincture is a calmative, relaxing sedative that also enhances cerebral circulation. Helps to relaxe smooth muscles.*

Used to reduce stress, anxiety, nervousness, agitation, and irritability. Especially recommended in nervous conditions associated with enfeebled cerebral circulation. Facilitates and enhances quality of sleep in insomnia without a “drugged” feeling. Nervous headache. Relief of mild neuralgia, cramps and spasms. Symptomatic relief of chorea when combined with Black Cohosh.

Herb Pharm prepares Valerian tincture from the fresh (never dried) root and rhizome of Certified Organic Valeriana officinalis plants. The rhizome & root are harvested in autumn and are then promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

To assure optimal extraction of Valerian’s bioactive compounds, the rhizome & roots are hand-harvested in late autumn or early spring and are then taken directly to our laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm itthrough methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

Herb Pharm Valerian is never fumigated or irradiated.
