Dandelion is an excellent alterative. Works as a general tonic to digestive organs and helps improve appetite and digestion. It is also a mild-acting cleanser and decongestant to liver and gallbladder, it enhances bile flow, and promotes regularity of bowel movements. Dandelion also makes a good diuretic and kidney cleanser.

Herb Pharm prepares their Dandelion Tincture from the fresh (undried), whole Taraxacum officinale plants (root, leaf & flower) which are Certified Organically Grown on private farms without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

To assure optimal extraction of Dandelion’s bioactive compounds, the plants are hand-harvested while in full flower, and are then taken directly to the laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

Dandelion tincture is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.
