Min Shan Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan

Functions: Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan Tonifies Heart and Kidney Yin, Nourishes Blood, Calms the Shen, Clears Deficiency Heat. The special formulation also helps with insomnia, anxiety, and concentration.

Indications: Heart and Kidney Yin deficiency with Blood deficiency and Shen disturbance, also known as Heart and Kidney not communicating. Presenting with insomnia, restless sleep, frequent waking, excessive and vivid dreaming, waking with anxiety, restlessness, irritability, anxiety, palpitations, fatigue, poor memory, forgetfulness, poor concentration with inability to concentrate for even short periods of time, night sweats, five palms heat, nocturnal emissions, dry skin and hair, constipation or dry stools, mouth or tongue sores, chronic throat pain that is worse in the afternoon, evening or when fatigued, low grade fever. Tongue: red or very red tip with a dry, scanty coat or no coat Pulse: thin and rapid, or thready and rapid.**

Biomedical Applications: Heart disease, arrhythmia, tachycardia, sleep disorders, acute and chronic anxiety disorders , phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, neurasthenia, neurosis, panic attacks, menopausal syndrome, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, chronic urticaria, recurrent aphthous ulcers, stomatitis, Bechets syndrome, physiological and psychological damage due to long-term stimulant use, development of tolerance to sedative and tranquillizer medication after long-term use.*

Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage: Administer Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. For insomnia 8-16 pills may be administered before bed. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.**

Ingredients: Rehmannia glutinosa root-raw, Angelica sinensis root, Schisandra chinensis fruit, Ziziphus spinosa seed, Biota orientalis seed, Asparagus cochinchinensis tuber, Ophiopogon japonicus tuber, Scrophularia ningpoensis root, Polygala tenuifolia root, Salvia miltiorrhiza root, Codonopsis pilosula root, Poria cocos fungus, Platycodon grandiflorum root. – Sheng di huang, Dang gui, Wu wei zi, Suan zao ren, Bai zi ren, Tian men dong, Mai men dong, Xuan shen, Yuan zhi, Dan shen, Dang shen, Fu ling, Jie geng.

Cautions & Contraindications: Contraindicated for Spleen deficient patients with loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection.**
