Chinese Bulk Herbs – Albizia Bark (He Huan Pi)
Albizia Bark is used to relieve depression and promote blood circulation. It also helps with poor memory and insomnia. It might help to reduce fatigue and ease tension. Albizia bark has been used to treat skin condition such as acne. It’s combined with other herbs in formulas that treat fractures.
Clinical Use (Chinese):
Tranquilizes the Mind and relieves depression, promotes Blood circulation to induce swelling. Plus, for depression, restlessness due to Deficiency, poor memory, and insomnia, it is used alone or with other herbs such as Semen Platycladi (BaiZiRen).

Sweet in flavor, neutral in property, acts on the heart and liver.
Cautions:
Although, it hasn’t been proven to cause drowsiness, however, it is recommended that you not drive or use heavy equipment while taking Albizzia bark. The American Herbal Products Association has given Albizzia bark a class 2B rating. That means it should not be given to pregnant women and use with extreme caution when giving to children.
